Mumbai: Imran Khan is back with an unusual quirky love story 'Katti Batti' with Kangana Ranaut. Surprisingly when he was approached for the role, he didn't like the script being offered to him.

At the trailer launch of film, director Nikhil Advani said, "At first, when Imran read the script, he simply said it was rubbish." Imran butted in and joked, "No those weren't my exact words. I just said that I disliked it very much."

The actor who took some time off from his hectic schedule to brace fatherhood, is back to face the camera after a span of two years. Ask him if he has any regrets about the same, he says, "I do not regret the time being away from films. I am glad that I got this break. In the last one-and-half-years, I was with my family, as my wife was pregnant and then our baby was born. There is nothing that would make me give up from being away with my family. This phase just comes once or twice in your life if you are fortunate enough, and I didn't want to miss out on that. But nevertheless I love making films and I am glad to be back."

Nikhil Advani's 'Katti Batti' cannot be classified or tagged in one genre. It is a film, which is an emotional tale about relationships, love and priorities but also has a refreshing and edgy twist.
