Mishap victims cremated with state expense

Visakhapatnam: The deceased in the jeep mishap at Rajahmundry were cremated at their native place, Musaiahpeta in Atchutapuram mandal, Visakhapatnam, on Saturday evening. As all the members of three families, except a 13-year-old child, were killed in the accident, the state government has taken the responsibility of the cremation of all the 22 people.

When the bodies of the deceased were brought to Musaipeta in a van in the evening, hundreds of villagers gathered to pay tributes to them. PR minister Ch. Ayyan-na Patrudu, Anakapalle MP M. Srinivasa Rao  and others were present.
