Hyderabad: After a prolonged wait the southwest monsoon has arrived in Telangana on Saturday and covered the entire state. The IMD failed to get the monsoon’s arrival date, accurately. However, at least it was in close proximity.

While the onset of monsoon over Andhra Pradesh was expected to be on June 5 and then into Telangana, the IMD kept increasing the onset date from June 5 by 48 hours every day until the monsoon arrived in Andhra Pradesh on June 10.
