Saikiran’s roommate heard gunshots

Hyderabad: A. Saikiran’s uncle, Sravan Kumar, said, “Manoj (Saikiran’s roommate and another Telugu student) told us that they heard gunshots and came down and found the injured Saikiran. They informed the police who arrived at the spot and rushed him to hospital. However, he succumbed in a while.”

The robbers, suspected to be African-Americans, escaped from the spot. The victim’s family members received information on Sunday afternoon from his friends. His parents have  sought the government’s help to bring the body to India.

Saikiran had finished his graduation in Computer Science from Geethanjali College of Engineering and  Technology in Keesara one year ago. The Florida police has started an investigation on his friend’s complaint.
