Bengaluru: With Chief Minister Siddaramaiah going on his inspection tour in the central and eastern parts of the city, traffic in the CBD is expected to be hit hard on Monday morning.
The visit will begin at 10.30 am and the CM is going around Broadway Street, Anepalya Road, Ejipura Road and Russell Market in Shivajinagar.
“The CM’s visit is coming on a wrong day as most of these roads carry higher volumes of traffic on the first day of the week. Such visits should be taken up during the weekends as people will not be affected so badly,” a traffic expert said.
The traffic police, however, felt that the visit may not affect traffic. “Entire team of ministers, media and officials will travel in three buses,” said a senior traffic officer.
