Censor Board appoints senior journalist Kunal M Shah in their advisory committee
He has over 15 years of experience in film journalism
Mumbai: Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has gone ahead and appointed senior film journalist, Kunal M Shah, as part of their advisory committee. The decision was taken earlier this month and he was officially given the appointment letter last week.
Kunal M Shah will be actively participating as one of the members of the film screening committee in Mumbai. Widely respected by actors and producers in the industry, he has an experience of over 15 years in film journalism. In the past he has worked with publications like Complete Cinema, Mumbai Mirror and Absolute India.
Earlier this month, one of the members of the advisory committee rang Kunal and told him about this offer. He was more than happy to accept it.
When contacted Kunal M Shah said, “ This offer came as a huge surprise to me as I had never expected to get a call from CBFC. I am really honoured to be a part of such a prestigious committee. It is a huge responsibility given to me by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. I would try and do justice to the best of my abilities.”
