Hyderabad: Satya Karthik has his fingers crossed as his debut film Tippu is all set to hit the screens on June 19. “I saw the film a couple of days ago. It was the first time I saw myself on screen and I am thrilled. However, as the release date is coming closer, I’m feeling nervous,” says Karthik. The actor feels that he has worked hard for his debut film and now, it is up to the audience to judge him. “I didn’t enter into films because my father is a producer. I am passionate about films. I know that if my film doesn’t work at the box-office, it won’t be easy to go ahead,” he says.

“Tippu is an action film. I have performed all the action scenes without using a stunt double. I was injured many times while shooting them. I have to take risks. This is my debut film and I have to impress everyone,” he says.

The actor has already started shooting for his second film with director Chuniya. “I was supposed to work with Raghavendra Rao garu for my debut film, but it didn’t materialise. But then, I met Chuniya. She narrated a story, which I liked,” he says. He is also going to sign his third project. “That film will be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Discussions are going on. I will announce it in a couple of weeks,” says Karthik.
