Hyderabad: The SCB meeting on Tuesday was disrupted by protesting residents of the Gandhi Colony who claimed that the Metro pillars had damaged their main sewerage lines. As a result drain water has been entering their homes.
Despite several complaints, the sewerage lines have not been repaired yet. Gandhi Colony is located behind the Ganesh temple near YWCA.
On June 14, the main sewerage line here was damaged due to Metro pillar works. Since then, drain water has been overflowing in the area.
Though the residents had lodged a complaint with the SCB on the same day, no action has been taken.
The SCB sewerage department will inspect the line and report about the same to the Metro officials.
