Hyderabad: As it is optional, most of the health employees in Telangana state have decided to give yoga a miss. The Ayush department in Telangana has not sent out any instructions and neither are there any government employees showing any interest in practicing yoga.

As a result, the department is going to fall back on the instructors from Nature Cure Hospital and the other private instructors to put up a good show on June 21.

Central Board of Secondary Education school students have also started practicing yoga postures. The best performing students will exhibit different yoga asanas on the World Yoga Day.

Universities have already been asked by the UGC and the state governments to hold mega yoga exhibitions on the day inviting public as well. Students’ participation, however, will be voluntary.
