IND vs BAN, first ODI: Players to watch out for
Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Team India will take on The Tigers in Mirpur today
Mumbai: Bangladesh will look to avenge their World Cup loss while Team India will be keen to consolidate from the solid start to their tour as the two teams meet for the first ODI starting in Mirpur on Thursday.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, with his ODI specialists, reached Dhaka on Monday. On the other hand, Mashrafe Mortaza will have his own set of skilled craftsmen.
One cannot miss out on these five players in the upcoming fixture.
Shikhar Dhawan: The southpaw had a terrific start to the tour with a ton (173). Dhawan, who also shone in the ICC World Cup 2015, is brutal in the limited overs. A good start from him up the order can set the ball rolling for the Men in Blue.
Umesh Yadav: He has speed and recently, he has been doubling it up with accuracy. One of the successful bowlers in the World Cup, Yadav can be a nightmare for The Tigers.
Ajinkya Rahane: The right-hander has been on a rampage since Indian Premier League. He even started the Test innings with a bang. Though he missed out on a hundred, he almost turned the game with his brisk knock of 98.
Rubel Hossain: Another World Cup success story that too, on the back of a rape allegation. His story is no less than a movie script but Hossain only spoke with his deliveries. Expect some banters with Virat Kohli.
Taskin Ahmed: Remember his deadly chest bumps with Mashrafe after dismissing Rahane in the World Cup? A fresh young talent who also has raw pace.
