Trisha to play a cop?

The shooting of Thoongavanam, starring Kamal Haasan and Trisha in the lead roles, was underway in Hyderabad recently. It was rumoured that Kamal would play a cop in this bilingual film, which is tipped as a fast-paced thriller.

However, all details pertaining to the film have been carefully kept under wraps. There is some speculation about Trisha also donning a cop’s uniform in the film. The actress, who has been in the industry for more than a decade, will be seen playing a police officer if everything goes well. Thoongavanam (Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu) has Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sambath, Madhu Shalini and Yugi Sethu too playing pivotal roles.
