ACB sends three reports to poll panel

Hyderabad: ACB director-general A.K. Khan said, “We have submitted two to three reports to EC. On the day of arrest of Revanth Reddy a report was sent.” A senior police official said, “ACB can now go legally after Mr Naidu after getting the APFSL report.” The issue came up for discussion in the AP Cabinet meeting.

Minister K. Atchennaidu said, “Telangana government should clarify whether they have booked a case under the EC’s directive and investigating under the EC’s purview or under ACB’s jurisdiction.”

He said if the case was under the ACB, then the case will not stand as it works with specific directions from a state and it is meant for pursuing corruption cases against employees.
