Mumbai: The downpour in Mumbai on Friday brought the city to a standstill. While that may have been good news for a few, not all were celebrating. Shraddha Kapoor, for one, was anxious about how her much-awaited ABCD2 would fare at the box-office, given that it was the film’s opening day. Turns out, the actress and her team were in constant touch with trade gurus to track the performance of the film.

Says a source, “Shraddha had a good run at the box-office with Haider and Ek Villain and she wants to maintain that track record. ABCD2 is a very important film for her.”

In an earlier interview, the Kapoor girl had confessed that she is superstitious when it comes to her films. “I am superstitious about the things that work and those that don’t, when it comes to my films. I try and stick to doing things that have always worked before the release,” she had admitted. Whatever the actress’ inhibitions, her team is confident of making up for the loss — if any — over the weekend.
