Graduation ceremony at MCEME
Officers were awarded BTech degrees from the JNU during the convocation held at the MCEME
Hyderabad: Seventeen officers of the 95 Degree Engineering Course and 24 officers of 23rd Technical Entry Scheme Course were awarded BTech degrees from the JNU during the convocation held at the MCEME here on Friday.
Captain Rishabh Garg, was awarded the gold medal for being first in the order of merit in academics in the electronics and mechanical streams of DE-95 course, while Lt. Vishal Singh was awarded the gold medal for topping in electronics and mechanical streams of TES-23 Course. Captain Rangarajan G. was selected as the best all round student officer of the DE-95 course.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan conferred the degrees and awards. The graduating officers had to design and fabricate projects that meet the requirements of the Army as well as demonstrate their knowledge in futuristic technologies.
An IR Based Control System project was adjudged the best in the DE-95 Course, while a RIFD Based Door Access Control project was adjudged best in the TES -23 Course.
Silver medals were given to Captain Nitish Kumar Singh for being second in the order of merit in academics in the electronics stream and to Captain Saleha Haque for being first in the mechanical streams of DE-95 Course.
Lieutenant Aditya Singh Dhadwal received the silver medal for topping in the mechanical stream and Lieutenant Hitesh Ahuja for being second in the electronics streams of TES-23 course.
Lieutenant General Gurmukh Singh, Commandant MCEME and Colonel Commandant was also present.
