Mirpur: India ODI skipper M.S. Dhoni, who has been facing a lot of criticism in Bangladesh for shoveling young fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in the first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on Thursday, got the backing of Team Director Ravi Shastri. He said there’s nothing wrong in what Dhoni did as he was left with no choice.

“Whatever Dhoni did was right as it was unavoidable. He actually prevented a major accident,” the Indian team’s Director was quoted as saying by cricketnext.com “If you see the footage, Dhoni took his bat out of the way to prevent the bowler from getting hit, otherwise the bowler would have been out for 3-4 months,” he added.
