Karan Johar begins recce for 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'

Mumbai: Ace director Karan Johar is all set to make his upcoming project a grand one. The filmmaker is currently busy scouting for shooting locations for his upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

The film, which will mark Johar's return to direction after 2012's ‘Student Of The Year’, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Aish while speaking to the media when she was in Cannes said how excited she is for this film. She said on many occasions Karan tried to rope in the actress but Aishwarya had her schedule packed. “Karan and I have hoped to work together many times and the most beautiful part about ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is that, finally, we are working together. When he narrated the idea to me, I thought it's wonderful to be telling a love story so different and above all, Karan directing that,” she said on a video chat.

Meanwhile Karan set the social media abuzz by posting, "And the location hunting begins!!!! #aedilhaimushkil.”

The film is slated to release in mid-2016.
