Sridevi is returning to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than two decades
Mumbai: Sridevi starrer upcoming Tamil project ‘Puli’ is an action adventure on the lines of Hollywood film ‘The Gladiator’.
The official teaser is out and almost coincides with the birthday of superstar Vijay, which is a day later on June 22. Veteran actress Sridevi steals the limelight of the almost-a-minute teaser starring all main characters of the film. Blue-eyed Vijay is seen as the daredevil warrior taking the centre stage while Shruti Haasan glides across the screen with a special number. In a blink and miss appearance is stuck amidst controversies Hansika Motwani.
The ‘English Vinglish’ actress, who is returning to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than two decades, is reportedly playing a queen in the fantasy film that also stars superstar Vijay.
The movie is directed by Chimbudevan of 23 aam Pulikesi fame and produced by PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens. The budget is estimated to be a whopping Rs.100 crores.
