Hyderabad: The AP government has decided to continue its aggressive stance as there were no signals from TS government on a let up over the cash-for-vote scandal.

In a meeting held at the residence of CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, with senior officials of Intelligence and ACB on Saturday, it was felt that issuance of notice to T News will only be the beginning and more notices would follow. If necessary, notices would also be served to Telangana ACB for ‘doctoring the tapes and inserting the voice of Mr Naidu’ official sources said.

But this will take place only after studying the moves of the Telangana government. AP ACB officials are preparing ground for notices on the basis of complaint given by Mathiah, according to sources.

Rumours were rife in the TS Secretariat that the AP government was planning to issue notice to Telangana state home secretary B. Venkatesam and senior IPS officer V.C. Sajjanar. The CM has asked DGP J.V. Ramudu about the progress of SIT constituted to probe the cases against Mr Rao.
