Gandhigram Institute selected for US project
Each project will receive an award of up to $US 1.90 lakh that could be utilised over a three-year period

Chennai: Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul, and University of North Florida have been selected for a joint project to augment the curriculum of higher educational institutions with an on-line integrated cognitive-based employability skills assessment system using signal and video analytics as part of the Indo-US 21st Century Knowledge Initiative awards.
A US state department press release said, eight institutional partnership projects have been selected for the fourth round of Indo-U.S. 21st Century Knowledge Initiative awards (formerly known as the Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative). The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and build partnerships between American and Indian institutions of higher education. Each project will receive an award of up to $US 1.90 lakh that could be utilised over a three-year period.
