New Delhi: About a month after Delhi court gave Delhi police go-ahead to conduct polygraph test on a few persons in connection with the Sunanda Pushkar murder case, the Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Monday said that the Special Investigation Team has conducted polygraph test on six persons till now.

“Our investigation is continuing. During investigation, whatever requires to be done will be done. And so far, we have already carried out polygraph test on six persons. If there is any requirement, we will conduct further tests,” said Mr Bassi.

The reports of the tests have not come yet. Police sources said that persons on whom tests have been conducted included former Union minister Shashi Tharoor’s domestic help Narain Singh, Mr Tharoor’s driver Bajrangi and his family friend Sanjay Dewan.

The Delhi Police had sprung a surprise in January by filing a murder case in connection with the death of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar after receiving final AIIMS report confirming that she was “poisoned”.
