New Delhi: Virender Sehwag is "seriously considering" leaving the Delhi team for other state associations, which would open up opportunities for junior cricketers in his native domestic side.

'ESPNcricinfo' has reported that the former India opener is weighing offers from other state associations for the upcoming season. Sehwag is the most successful batsman from Delhi at the India level, scoring 17,000 plus runs across three formats. He has represented the Indian team in 104 Tests, 251 ODIs and 19 T20s.
