All is not well in Indian dressing room, says Virat Kohli’s personal coach

Mumbai: After MS Dhoni’s personal coach Chanchal Bhattacharya hinted about the tension in the Indian cricket team dressing room, Virat Kohli’s coach on Tuesday claimed that all is not well with Team India.

According to reports, Raj Kumar Sharma, Virat Kohli's coach, termed India’s series loss against Bangladesh as "the most humiliating thing for Indian cricket."

Sharma said, "I have no hesitation it was the Black Sunday of Indian cricket." However, he did not blame MS Dhoni for India’s defeat.

Following India’s defeat against Bangladesh in Mirpur on Sunday, Dhoni had said, "It doesn't really matter who is the captain because I was never really in line to become the captain. It was a job or responsibility for me. They want to take it away from me, I am fine.”

On Monday, his personal coach had hinted about dressing room issues, saying, "I don't know the inside story but we have seen Dhoni play and fight till the last over. If one's mind is not at peace then it is impossible to play,"

"He is unable to deliver his best because of mental pressure and because of the dressing room's environment as well as the media. I haven't spoken to him but I feel the environment of the dressing room is bad," he added.
