A two-day old iPhone 6 explodes during call
This is the first reported explosion of an iPhone 6 in India
Good or bad, Apple never fails to surprise us! According to a report by Times of India, an iPhone 6 user — Kishan Yadav — from Gurgaon, Haryana filed a complaint against Apple, after his iPhone exploded while he was on call. Fortunately for him, he was talking on the phone on hands-free mode, otherwise he could have faced serious injuries.
The user claimed that he bought the iPhone on June 18 and the incidence took place just a couple of days after that. He said that he was in his car talking to his friend, when he noticed sparks flying out of his iPhone. Scared, he threw the phone, which has turned extremely hot, out the car window. The second the iPhone hit the ground, it exploded.
Later, Yadav took the iPhone to the store in Galleria market, from where he had bought it. From there he was redirected to the Apple service centre, where he was suggested to deposit the iPhone.
Kishan Yadav had reportedly bought the 64GB space grey iPhone 6. This is the first reported explosion of an iPhone 6 in India.
