Telangana BJP to oppose Section 8

Hyderabad: The BJP warned that implementing Section 8 to empower the Governor to control law and order in Hyderabad would trigger unrest.

TS party chief G. Kishan Reddy said the situation was peaceful in Hyderabad. “BJP has nothing to do with the cash-for-vote scam. There is false propaganda to fix the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Centre has not taken any decision to implement Section 8 in toto,” he said.
