Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies students come up with idea incubator
The club will help students develop their business ideas in areas of fisheries, agri-business etc
KOCHI: The students’ union of the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) has come up with an initiative called ‘Tesla’ for developing the business ideas and dreams of students under the newly launched Entrepreneurship Development Club.
The club will help students develop their business ideas in areas of fisheries, agri-business, food production, value addition, fish processing, marine drugs etc. The best ideas will be sent to the University’s Centre for Advanced Training in Entrepreneurship Development for transforming them into reality.
‘Tesla’ will focus on encouraging students to utilise their entrepreneurial tastes and creative ideas by organising contests and reality shows. The club has already received a slew of ideas, said A.V. Shanuj, chai-rman of the students’ union.
