Mumbai: As known to all, Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are all set to lock horns on Eid 2016, with both their films — ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ — scheduled to release on the festival weekend.
Shah Rukh, who just returned from Bulgaria, was in a good mood to address all the queries of the media that have made headlines in past few days.
Speaking on the clash of the release date of ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’, the actor says, “All the clash that’s going to happen is because of the social media. First, it’s not a clash. There are only 365 days, 54 Fridays; we make 200 films and it’s bound to happen that some films release on the same Friday.”
“Most of the people involved in both the films are actually friends. Adi is producing it, Salman is acting in it, Excel is producing it, Red Chillies is doing, and I am part of it. I think, yes, absolutely the business will get divided, lekin humlog itne ache dost hain to har chiz sath sath karenge, ab to film bhi saath me release karenge (we are such good friends we will do everything together now, including the release of our films). There is nothing like the clash; now I think there will be films, which will come together, which will release together. I think as far as the team on both sides is concerned, we are very respectful and loving with each other, so we will work out things to get the best business time as possible,” he further added.
A concerned Shah Rukh dusted away the news of any rivalry between the two Khans who bonded after what seems like a decade before Arpita’s wedding. The picture of the two giving Arpita their blessings before her marriage cemented the fact that there was no sign of bad blood between the two.
