Ernakulam Karayogam guest house at Guruvayoor
As part of the 90th anniversary celebrations a five-day programme will be held from December 21-25
Kochi: Ernakulam Karayogam will set up a new guest house and auditorium at Guruvayoor with an estimated cost of Rs 15.5 cr.
The decision was part of the Rs 25.21 cr budget approved by the Karayogam during the annual general a meeting held on Sunday. The project is part of the 90th anniversary celebration of the formation of the organisation, said P Ramchandran general secretary.
The meeting has also approved a proposal to establish a polyclinic with an estimated investment of Rs 3.5 cr in Erankulam. Other projects approved included a solar power project and air-conditioning of the dining hall in the ground floor of TDM Hall.
As part of the 90th anniversary celebrations a five-day programme will be held from December 21-25.
The meeting has also decided to set apart Rs 50 lakh for providing free medicines to cancer, HIV and leprosy patients seeking treatment at the General Hospital in Ernakulam.
Karaygoam president KPK Menon, vice-president K.Ramachandran Nair and other office bearers attended the meeting.
