Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress-led coalition government in Kerala won the by-election amidst corruption allegations.
Congress candidate, 31-year-old KS Sabarinathan, was elected to the state legislature from Aruvikkara by a margin of over 10,000 votes.
Sabarinathan is the son of late Congress leader G Karthikeyan, who passed away on March 7, this year due to liver cancer.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, took to Twitter to congratulate Sabarinathan.
