Hyderabad: Member of the Legislative Council Ponguleti Sudhakara Reddy on Monday criticised the TS government for not extending invitations to legislators from the opposition for President Pranab Mukherjee’s reception at the Hakimpet Airforce Station.

Addressing a news conference at the Congress Legislature Party’s office, Mr Reddy blamed CM K. Chandrasekhar and said Mr Rao is following “democracy for KCR, of KCR and by KCR”.

He demanded action against those responsible and said that selectively ignoring opposition legislators and not inviting them for official programmes is part of the CM’s “conspiracy”.

“This is a clear breach of privileges of legislators. We will meet the President and bring this to his notice,” Mr Reddy said.
