OnePlus 2 leaks reveal fingerprint scanner on the rear

OnePlus fans will be excited with the new pictures that leaked ahead of the launch

OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone brand that shook the industry with a high-end smartphone on a low-cost price tag, is all ready to launch the next handset, the OnePlus 2. The new smartphone expected to be a killer as the first one from the stable was known as a flagship killer. OnePlus has been slowly teasing the new smartphone launch by revealing specifications one after the other. As of date, OnePlus has revealed the new smartphone to have a Type-C USB connector and will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset, the fastest processor till date.

This time, a few OnePlus pictures seem to have sneaked out of the stable and reported by Fonearena.  8xcThe photos show both sides of the OnePlus 2 smartphone, which resembles the first version of the smartphone (OnePlus 1) marginally. The device is said to have a metal build and sport a wooden back panel. The rear panel discloses a fingerprint scanner (possibly) below the camera on the small bar.

OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 2 on July 27, 2015 and is expected to sport a 5.5-incher (or a larger 5.7-incher) full HD or quad-HD display.
