Shahid Kapoor to marry on July 7 in Delhi; exes not invited
'Shahid and Mira are perfect together; this is ek-duuje-ke-liye stuff'
July 7 has been fixed as the date for Shahid Kapoor’s nuptials with Mira Rajput. The wedding will take place in Delhi and will be attended only by the Kapoor and Rajput families and close friends.
“It’s not going to be a large, lavish wedding and his former girlfriends are certainly not invited, as some reports have claimed. Shahid and Mira’s families wanted the wedding to be a really quiet affair,” a close associate of Shahid told us.
While some talk around the wedding has highlighted the age difference (about 13 years) between Shahid and Mira, our source says, “No one within the two families is commenting on the age difference. Shahid and Mira are perfect together. This is ek-duuje-ke-liye stuff.”
The wedding in Delhi will be followed by a reception in Mumbai. “That’s where you might bump into Shahid’s B’wood exes. But at the wedding? No way!” our source says. Incidentally, Mira, we are told, is not an avid movie watcher and has not seen too many of Shahid’s films either. “What Shahid likes best about Mira is that she isn’t awed by his stardom,” our source says.
