HyderabadOn June 27, a huge crowd of relatives had gathered at the Rainbow Children’s Hospital, demanding concession for the treatment of their neo-natal. The child weighed less than 1 kg when born and was under treatment for two months in the ICU.

Ms Sharmila Reddy, the child’s mother, had been in the hospital and had co-operated with the doctors for the treatment. The initial amount was paid and so were the other medical expenses but they refused to pay the final settlement amount of Rs 3 lakh. Lastly, the hospital had to let them go without paying.
