Nizamabad: Fear has gripped both parents and students post the suspicious death of Intermediate second year student Ch. Om Prakash in Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Bachupally campus. Last rites of the student was conducted on Tuesday at Jangampally village of Bhiknoor mandal. Death of student has raised so many questions among parents and children.
People of Nizamabad district have been showing interest to enrol their wards in corporate educational institutions for the quality education they provide. Many students from the district are studying in various corporate schools and colleges in Hyderabad. PROs and agents of such institutions often camp in Nizamabad to persuade parents and prospective students.
In Om Prakash’s case, his parents had admitted him in Bachupally campus in BiPC last year. Shockingly, he was found dead at college campus on Monday and body was brought to his native village Jangampally on the same night.
Speaking to newsmen, parents Ch. Narsimhulu and Shyamala said that their son did not have any health problems. “Om Prakash excelled well in studies and improved his marks in recent Inter first year exams,” they said.
Meanwhile, parents of other students of corporate colleges said that children suffer under tremendous academic pressure in corporate institutions often leading to stress.
