TDP leader Errabelli confident about High Court striking down cash-for-vote scam
Errabelli Dayakar Rao advised CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao to stop politicising issues
Hyderabad: Telangana TDP Legislature party leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday advised CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao to stop politicising issues and concentrate on development of the state.
He challenged the CM to make the MLAs, who had defected to the TRS, to resign and face the electorate in the by-polls so that the people could judge the performance of his one-year rule.
He asked how the CM could talk about democracy and constitutional values when he himself had flouted values by admitting several opposition MLAs without obtaining their resignations to the posts.
He charged the Mr Rao of colluding with Andhra-based engineering and medical college syndicates and for acting as per their advise in cutting down several engineering colleges in Telangana.
Referring to the cash-for-vote case, Mr Dayakar Rao said that TRS leaders celebrated after the arrest of the TDP MLA as part of a grand conspiracy but the HC had come to the rescue and did justice by granting bail. “We are very confident that some day the HC will also strike down the cash-for-vote case,” he said.
