We want notices served to us, says Nara Lokesh
‘One should not drag any issue till the end & TS Govt. would have to pay a heavy price’
Hyderabad: Upping the ante on the controversial phone tapping incident, Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Lokesh said that the TRS government is now overtly worried over its acts of omission and commission. “They have fallen into a pit that they have dug. As Andhra Pradesh has incriminating evidence on the tapping. They don’t know what to do and how to go about it,” he said here on Tuesday.
“Why did Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao suddenly shift the home secretary and appoint Rajiv Trivedi? Why has the intelligence wing chief gone on long leave? Is it not due to fear about the tapping?” Mr Lokesh asked. “If notices are served to us, it’s nothing but pouring milk on us. We want it to happen,” he stated. One should not drag any issue till the end and the Telangana government would have to pay a heavy price politically for this act, he said.
