Samuthirakani’s period film rolls again

Director-turned-actor Samuthirakani had announced his pet project Kitna a while ago with Amala Paul and said that it would feature the actress in more than one role. Later, there was a major change in the casting and Dhansika is now playing a pivotal role in the movie.

Samuthirakani is also playing a key character in this film, set against the backdrop of a village. The shooting of Kitna commenced some time back and was stalled due to unknown reasons. A source now says that the movie has kicked off again and that it is a period flick which dwells on the lives of a few people and spans a couple of decades. The actors who play prominent roles in this movie are said to be sporting different get ups.
