Resul Pookutty in talks with Mammootty for directorial debut
Mammootty shows no signs of slowing down

Even after ruling the industry for the past four decades, Mammootty shows no signs of slowing down. The veteran actor seems to be landing himself in big projects with top guns and has a long list of films that he has committed to.
While a source hints that Mammootty will be a part of academy award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty’s Malayalam directorial debut, Resul himself clarifies, “I have had a discussion on a subject with Mammootty and I am working on developing that story. I have a go ahead from him for the subject.” Incidentally, Resul has been the sound designer, sound editor and sound mixer in Kunjananthante Kada which had Mammootty in the lead.
