Hyderabad: Sathupally TD MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who had been served a notice by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in the cash-for-vote case, emerged on Wednesday, two weeks after he went into hiding.
Mr Veeraiah wrote to the ACB stating that he was ready to appear before the Bureau whenever needed. He claimed that he was under treatment at the Bollineni hospital in Rajahmundry for the past 10 days.
“I was being treated for pain in spine and right leg. I had sought 10 days time from the ACB on May 19. I am now available for the agency,” he said.
