Anti Corruption Bureau to take Revanth Reddy to apex court

Hyderabad: Cash-for-vote scam accused MLA A. Revanth was slapped with cases by the cops for under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and City Police Act for threatening TS CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, for wielding a deadly weapon in an unlawful assembly and for making indecent gestures and comments against women members of the CM’s family.
The ACB has decided to present the FIRs of these cases, pictures and other evidence to the Supreme Court to defend its petition against granting bail to Mr Reddy. It will argue that Mr Reddy has the potential to threaten witnesses in the case. The case is up for hearing on Friday in the SC.
