Wife moves SHRC as a police constable tries to marry again

He married her in a second marriage 22 years ago

HyderabadA police constable of Medak district is preparing to marry again. Mr Narasimhulu, a constable at Begumpet police station in Medak is a father of four girls. He wants to marry again to have a male child. His wife Balalaxmi, along with their four daughters, approached the State Human Rights Commission on Friday for justice.
 
Mr Narasimhulu is working as a constable at Begumpet police station in Medchal mandal of Medak district.
He had married a woman 30 years ago and left her due to family disputes after 25 years of marriage. 
 
Later, he married Balalaxmi in a second marriage 22 years ago. They were blessed with four daughters. Their elder daughter got married two years ago. But he always wanted to have a male child. 
 
Unable to bear this harassment, Ms Balalaxmi left the house and started staying separately along with her three daughters. “He is harassing everyday that he wants a male child. We have a fight at home everyday. My daughters are now of a marriage age, but he wants a son. He is not even paying for our basic expenses” said his wife Balalaxmi.
