Pollution can be described as contamination of air, water and soil by introduction of a contaminant into a natural environment
- 500mn: Estimated no. of cars in the world. by 2030 it will rise to one billion, thus doubling the pollution level
- 3mn: The Number of kids under the age of 5 yrs who die every year due to environmental factors like pollution.
- 85mn: Tonnes of waste prevented from being dumped in 2010 due to compositing and recycling efforts
