Namit Das replaces Shreyas Talpade in Indian version of ‘Everybody loves Raymond’

Mumbai: According to reports, Shreyas Talpade was to play the lead in Indian version of ‘Everybody loves Raymond’ but now the channel has confirmed that it’s Namit Das who has replaced the actor and is now doing the show.

Namit Das had been finalised to play the protagonist Sumit, the Indian Raymond whose predicament is one that men face universally, of getting stuck in family situations post marriage that gives rise to a comical extravaganza.

Confirming the news Namit said, “A wife who seems to win all arguments, an overprotective mother - I have lived this and more. Now, are you ready to see what I go through every day? Welcome to the Desi Raymond – Sumit Sambhal Lega!”
