Photographers boycott Baba Siddiqui's Iftar party
The angry cameramen left the venue after a faulty ramp gave way
Mumbai: Baba Siddiqui’s iftaar party has always been the talk of the town. The most awaited party was held at Taj Lands End on Sunday evening. However the paparazzi decided to give this event a miss.
Contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t a tiff with Salman Khan or any other celebrity that set off the photographers. According to reports there were no proper arrangements made for the cameramen at the venue.
A small barricade was arranged for the media people to set up and carry on their work. The barricade was enough for around 20 people, as many started pushing and shoving it collapsed. According to reports, two photographers were seriously injured and others sustained minor injuries.
Even though it was no fault of the actor’s, the paparazzi decided to boycott the event, and not a single picture of Salman Khan was clicked. Last year at the launch of Salman Khan’s song ‘Devil’ from the film ‘Kick’, photographers stormed off from the event after they were manhandled by the security personnel. After which they boycotted every single event attended by the star.
However Salman made peace with the photographers in November when he personally invited them to his sister Arpita’s wedding reception.
