Vijayawada: Metro rail project may boost construction activity in areas surrounding Vijayawada city. The Metro Rail has been proposed from Pundit Nehru bus station to Penamaluru and Nidamanuru for two corridors.
Government’s recent plan to link the metro rail to Amaravati capital city can also provide a fillip to the realty business in Penamaluru and Nidamanuru. The two regions might see a boom in infrastructure business, observed city-based builders.
As per plans, it should take 30 minutes from capital Amaravati to the two areas of Penamaluru and Nidamanuru. Many more residential apartments, gated community colonies will come up along the metro rail corridors.
Going by the developments, investors and builders have pinned huge hopes on the Metro Rail project. Bandar road up to Penamaluru is a prime area for the realty sector. Construction activity is active and real estate may see a surge in demand.
A. Sivarami Reddy, managing director of Divya Prabhas builders, said that the project would definitely boost the infrastructure operations in Vijayawada city. “The realty and construction sector is not so good but metro rail project would bring new developments,” he added.
V.
