46 girls ill after meals in West Maredpally
They were given kichdi in the morning

Hyderabad: Forty-six girls of the Social Welfare Residential School at West Maredpally were admitted to Fever Hospital due to food poisoning. They had fried rice and egg curry at night and in the morning they were given kichdi. Symptoms began after that. Along with the girls the teachers also came to attend to children of Class V and VI.
A senior officer of the health department said, “The sump water is not clean. This look like water contamination, as these children are very scared the teachers decided to stay back at night. They are recovering.”
