It will not be Maari vs Vaalu on July 17

Simbu-starrer Vaalu and Dhanush-starrer Maari was supposed to releaseon July 17, but the latest we hear is that Vaalu has been given an interim stay for its release because of  financial complications of its producer SS Chakravarthy of NIC Arts and the hearing has been slated for July 13. Therefore, the  Maari andVaalu clash might not happen.

This is not the first time that Simbu and Dhanush are clashing at the box office. They locked horns for the first time in 2004 with Kovil and Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan releasing around the same time after Manmadhan and Dreams.

We have heard stories of how Dhanush and Simbu are at loggerheads with each other though they share a good rapport off screen.Simbu even did a guest appearance in Dhanush’s hit production Kaaka Muttai and is currently acting in Kaan under Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan’s direction!
