Kerala bar scam: Aam Aadmi Party to implead for court supervision

THRISSUR: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Kerala has decided implead in the bar bribery case seeking court supervision in the the proceedings.

The party will submit an impleading petition in the court. Its state convenor Sarah Joseph and state committee member Arun Jose, while addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, said the decision to submit charge sheet in the case was taken by the investigating officer on his own.

They cited the case of M.C Mehta against Union of India and others in 2006 to state that the current situation of bar scam is against the Supreme Court’s ruling.
