The Xiaomi Redmi 2 Enhanced, which was launched in China in February 2015, has now been unveiled in Singapore as well. The new Redmi smartphone is priced at $179. We are hoping that the smartphone will soon be directed towards the Indian market as well, wherein it should cost around Rs 8,400 (calculating from its price in Singapore).

The Redmi 2 Enhanced variant shares almost all hardware and software features with its sibling, except for some enhancements. As compared to Redmi 2’s 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage, the Redmi 2 Enhanced sports, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
