Deadline ends for Hussiansagar lake check
Two days before the deadline, the committee has not inspected the lake yet

Hyderabad: July 10 is the deadline for the two-member committee to submit a report to the National Green Tribunal on the alleged dewatering of Hussiansagar. Two days before the deadline, the committee has not inspected the lake yet.
Sources say that the two members of the committee have not received communication from the NGT to inspect the lake. A city-based lake protection group has written to the Chief Justice of India on the NGT’s functioning in the matter.
The NGT had ordered the formation of the two-member committee some months ago based on a petition from the city NGO.
