Pawan Kalyan says happy to go to jail, face court

HyderabadActor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday reacted to the filing of a police complaint against him by the Telangana advocates Joint Action Committee, saying that he would be “very happy to go to jail and face court”.
 
In a tweet on Wednesday, he said, “I will be very happy to go to Jail n facing Courts and please kindly do the needful (sic)”. He went on to say that the tweet was in the context of “some group wanting to lodge a police complaint and file a case against me” regarding his statements. Pawan Kalyan, in a series of tweets, also reacted to MPs from Andhra Pradesh, who had on Tuesday hit out at the actor for saying that they were not doing enough for the state. The MPs must go and fight with the Central government instead of making comments against me, the actor-politician wrote. He said that engaging in business was not wrong at all, but MPs devoting themselves completely to their business was a “blunder”.
 
When asked about his sudden outburst against the political drama in the two states people close to the actor, on condition of anonymity, said that the actor had spoken out as he was under immense pressure to do so by politicians, media, criticism on social media etc.
